France Cohortes
The UMS France Cohortes, set up on 1 February 2021, currently comprises 13 patient and general population cohorts.
Supervisory bodies: Inserm, INED, Sorbonne University, University Paris Cité , University Paris-Saclay
The main aim of this UMS is to pool services to cohorts and enable them to take a concerted approach to common issues such as storage, regulatory assistance and matching with the National Health Data System (SDNS).
This UMS has 5 cotutelles: Sorbonne University, Inserm, Ined, Université Paris City and Paris-Saclay University. Sorbonne University is associated with this UMS through its involvement in setting up 2 cohorts:
- HEPATHER: Cohort of patients infected with the hepatitis B or C virus: therapeutic options.
Leaders: Fabrice Carrat, IPLESP and Stanislas Pol, Institut COCHIN. - RADICO (Rare Disease Cohorts).
Head: Serge Amselem, UMR-S 933 Physiopathology of Paediatric Genetic Diseases at Armand Trousseau Hospital, Paris.
The creation of these two cohorts has been financed through the future investment programme.
