The rise of new technologies is a crucial element in the development of surgical practice.

The “Clinical Research Group – Robotics and Surgical Innovation” (GRC-RIC) encourages and unites preclinical and clinical research work in all surgical fields. The program also aims to integrate new technologies such as robotics, surgical navigation, simulation, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence.

GRC-RIC is bringing new research projects and technological innovations to the Sorbonne University medical community. It facilitates the enrollment and supervision of young physicians and coordinates research proposals that originate both within and outside of Sorbonne University to further promote surgical innovation throughout various fields.

The GRC-RIC provides national and international visibility to Sorbonne University in the areas of translational research and surgical innovation.
