He is developing statistical learning methods to model and predict the progression of a progressive disease such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease. Its algorithms can predict years in advance what a patient's brain image or state of cognitive function will be. This work opens up new perspectives for evaluating the effectiveness of experimental treatments in these diseases.
