Actions 2024 incoming and outgoing mobility research grant
OBJECTIVE
Develop/strengthen/initiate scientific exchanges between research centers in at least two minimum two countries. The action undertaken should have a lasting beneficial effect on a such as obtaining an international label, developing or strengthening a strategic strategic partnership. All fields of research are eligible.
FUNDING
- Allocated budgets are intended to finance the transport and accommodation of researchers, up to a maximum stay of 2 months. Funding must be used between January 1 and December 31 of 2024, and cannot be carried over to the following year
- To assess the amount of a grant, 50% of the scale of mission expenses for public-sector employees will be applied.
- Only one stay per laboratory may be financed in 2024.
- This grant may be combined with other funding.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Any public whose work will benefit a laboratory attached to the Faculty of Health Sciences of Sorbonne University: researchers/teacher-researchers/hospital-university staff/hospital practitioners hospital practitioners, laboratory technical staff (BIATS/ITA), post-docs, doctoral students. Our aim is to achieve a balance between outgoing and incoming mobility.
ORGANIZATION
- Outgoing candidates can spend their stay in public or private, scientific or industrial research laboratories.
- Incoming candidates must spend their stay in a research laboratory of Sorbonne University's Faculty of Health Sciences.
REQUIREMENTS
- Scientific excellence of the host/sending institution.
- Competence and quality of host teams.
- Complementarity of teams and mutual transfer of skills.
- Scientific impact.
PROCEDURE
- Documents to be e-mailed to medecine-international@sorbonne-universite.fr :
1. An invitation from the host establishment.
2. A 2-page maximum description of the project.
3. Candidate's CV, maximum 3 pages.
4. A description of the host laboratory for outgoing mobility, maximum 1 page.
5. A 2-month estimate of mobility costs.
- Applications will be examined during 2 annual campaigns (submission deadlines: June 3, 2024 and September 2, 2024).
- Projects will be selected by a commission made up of representatives of the Sorbonne University Faculty of Health Sciences Research Committee / Sorbonne University Faculty of Health Sciences General Management / Vice-Dean of International Relations. Applications will be returned to the applicant within one month (i.e. July 3 and October 2).
- Funds will be paid to the researcher's host laboratory in the form of a lump sum.
- A report must be submitted to the Faculty of Health Sciences research committee, together with proof of expenses incurred (plane/train tickets, hotel bills, etc.). In addition, a feedback report to be shared with the faculty community is expected to be disseminated through various communication channels.
